This could be you. Join our in-field baling team and work hands-on across regional Queensland.

Not your average job

If you’re looking for something different - something hands-on, outdoors, and genuinely rewarding - in-field baling might be exactly what you’re after.

At Oreco Group, our baling teams operate across Central Queensland and key agricultural regions, working at the front line of our operation. This is where materials are collected, processed, and prepared right at the source - long before they become finished products.

It’s real work, in real conditions, with a real impact.

What is in-field baling?

In-field baling is exactly what it sounds like - working out in the field to collect and compress organic materials into bales for transport and further processing.

This can include:

  • agricultural crop residues

  • fibre and organic materials

  • post-harvest recovery

The work is done using specialised machinery and coordinated teams, moving across different sites throughout the season.

Why this work matters

This is not just a job - it’s a critical part of how materials are recovered, reused, and turned into valuable products.

Our baling teams help:

  • recover usable organic material

  • reduce waste in agricultural systems

  • support the production of compost, mulch, and animal products

  • keep operations moving efficiently across the supply chain

You’re not just working in a paddock - you’re part of a much bigger system.

  • work outdoors

  • travel between locations

  • be part of a tight-knit team

  • experience regional Australia

Skilled operators

If you have experience with machinery, agriculture, or similar work, there are opportunities to step into more advanced roles within our teams.

But in return, you get:

  • reliability

  • teamwork

  • practical problem-solving

  • getting the job done properly

We’re not a casual operator - we run structured, professional teams that take pride in what we do.

What we look for

We’re looking for people who are:

  • reliable and willing to work

  • comfortable working outdoors

  • able to work as part of a team

  • adaptable and ready to move with the job

Experience in agriculture, machinery, or labouring is a bonus - but not essential.
